About the Artist

Jessica Kaulback moved to Truckee, California from Washington, DC in 2013. Seeking nature, a change of pace, and a healthy environment, she quickly fell in love with the beauty, lifestyle, and people of Northern California, making Lake Tahoe home for her young family. Heartwood Ink was created in celebration and honor of the vast beauty and complexity of this natural landscape, elevating relief printing to a fine art with high attention to the smallest details and the finest lines found in wood grain.
